A visit to the town of Assisi and St. Francis Basilica. We saw no dogs in Assisi. The Basilica and monastery were awesome. On our way back to the bus we finally saw a dog, in fact a St. Barnard, led by a monk who was also carrying a plastic bag of what appeared to be his trash. Got to love it. Back at our hotel for the night (translated the Three Vessels) we get a wine lecture and a lecture by the chef. Then a tour of the cemetery in the small town and finally the best meal of the entire trip.
